- Golfer falls back and away from target at impact. Does not make proper weight shift to front foot during the down swing leading to lack of power and inconsistent ball flights.
- Normally leads to premature release of the wrist angles (scooping) as player tries to whip the club into impact.
- Common cause is instability due to a lack of hip & leg strength not allowing weight to be transferred during down swing as well as limited lead hip mobility.
