- Lateral move towards the target in the downswing with inability to stabilize the lower body.
- Loss of biomechanical advantage of rotation leading to a lack of energy transfer from the pelvis to the thorax.
- Common cause is limited lead hip internal rotation, limited thoracic rotation and tight Lats.
- Can also be due to limited strength in the glute maximus, medius and lateral leg stabilizing muscles (adductors and abductors).
